While we hosted TÜBİTAK, ASELSAN, and Turkish Patent Institution Presidents at our university, we contributed and supported our industrialists. More than 300 activities and events were carried out in a 2-year period. As a requirement of our responsibility towards our region, 4 different scientific and academic studies have been conducted only on apricot and 2 reports have been published. Malatya Turgut Özal University, which builds its foundation on the idea of ‘a university without walls’, acts with an international university mission and vision that brings local values to the universe and universal values to the local from a local and national window. Under the Apricot Research and Development Center, which tries to catch the ‘producing university model’, our academics are continuing to produce hihg value Prebiotic Apricot Extract, Organic Bitter and Sweet Apricot Kernel Oil, Apricot Kernel Coffee for our country and city. n addition to these, we have rapidly started the production of Disinfectant and Anti-Irritant Hand and Body Cream due to COVID-19 virus which is experienced in the world and in our country. ”
