Mass Housing Project Protocol between MTÜ and TOKİ
Within the scope of the project planned to be built on the lands belonging to the Malatya Turgut Özal University Yeşilyurt campus, a protocol was signed between MTÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay Karabulut and TOKİ Vice President Hakan Akbulut.
The construction of the residences to be built in MTÜ Yeşilyurt campus will be carried out by TOKİ and will be sold to MTÜ academic and administrative staff upon request.

Rector Prof. Dr. Karabulut stated that they want to enable academic and administrative staff working at the university to purchase houses and “With our academicians and students, we produce science by making our school a pioneering science center with a participatory management approach.” In this process, we are carrying out our well-known and guiding projects together. While carrying out our academic and scientific studies for the growth and development of our university in a short time, we have never compromised on our social activities and social responsibility projects. Today, we are taking an important step for our academic and administrative staff to become a homeowner and to build social areas. ”
Rector Prof. Dr. Karabulut stated that the protocol realized was also a great source of motivation. “Universities are institutions that produce science, seek facts, conduct high-level research, and provide high-level training. Of course, in this process, the high motivations of our employees have a big impact. In the establishment of our university, there were 1 faculty and 8 vocational schools. Today, with 6 faculties, 8 Vocational Schools, 2 colleges and 29 academic units, we are educating future generations with dedication in the light of science. At the same time, we are creating both social areas such as Student Life centers and educational and training areas, laboratories, conference rooms, innovative educational areas with our new service buildings that are under construction in our Yeşilyurt campus.” Rector Karabulut “I would like to thank our President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and The President of the Higher Education Council, Yekta Saraç, who always supported us in this sense” said.
