Malatya Turgut Özal University (MTÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay Karabulut stated that the    Eid al-Fitr  will be perceived with the feelings of brotherhood, “We will reach our loved ones that we cannot be with, even if it is through communication tools, and we will share this happiness.”

We are happy to have  Eid al-Fitr, where the climate of friendship and brotherhood develops, cooperation and unity of emotions increases. Eid al-Fitr  days are the times when a culture of unity, solidarity, love, respect and brotherhood is common. We wish that we can celebrate this Eid  with our loved ones, as in past holidays, but we have to spend this fest at our home due to the corona virus epidemic that affects the whole world. If we all act carefully together and follow the rules such as mask, distance and cleaning, we will get through this process.

On this Eid al-Fitr, when we look to the future with hope and confidence, we will reach our loved ones who we cannot be with, by means of communication and share this happiness.

With these feelings, I commemorate our martyrs, our veterans with mercy and gratitude, congratulate their precious families and their children on the Eid al-Fitr with the most heartfelt feelings, and I hope that this fest will bring peace and happiness to our nation and country.

Together with all our academic, administrative staff and students, I congratulate the blessed Eid al-Fitr of our Great Nation and The Islamic World with my sincere wishes, and wish it to lead to peace, beautiful and bright tomorrows in the world.
